Terms of Use
Last Updated: January 2025
Welcome to Edutina Harbrix. By accessing our website at edutinaharbrix.com or participating in our mobile game architecture education programs, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
These terms govern your relationship with us and outline what we expect from both sides. If something here doesn't work for you, we'd rather you didn't use our services than agree to something that feels wrong.
1. Acceptance and Scope
When you register for our courses, download materials, or interact with our platform, you're entering into an agreement with Edutina Harbrix. This applies whether you're browsing casually or enrolled in a full program.
We update these terms occasionally. Not constantly, but when needed. We'll notify enrolled students via email when significant changes happen. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. Educational Services
What We Provide
Our programs focus on mobile game architecture with practical, hands-on learning. We teach technical skills through real project work, not just theory. Course content includes video lessons, written materials, code examples, and project assignments.
Programs typically run six to twelve months. Start dates for upcoming sessions are scheduled for autumn 2025 and early 2026. We'll provide exact schedules once you enroll.
What We Don't Promise
We can't guarantee job placement or specific salary outcomes. Game development is competitive, and success depends on many factors beyond our control. What we can offer is solid training and practical skills that employers look for.
Course content may change based on industry developments. If Unity releases a major update or new architectural patterns emerge, we adjust. That's part of staying relevant.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information during registration. We use this for certificates and communication.
- Meet technical requirements for course participation. You'll need a capable computer and reliable internet.
- Respect intellectual property rights. Course materials are for your learning, not for redistribution.
- Maintain appropriate conduct in community spaces. Professional disagreement is fine, but harassment isn't.
- Complete assignments and projects according to deadlines we establish together.
Account Security: You're responsible for keeping your login credentials private. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at info@edutinaharbrix.com.
4. Intellectual Property
Our Content
All course materials, videos, documentation, and code examples belong to Edutina Harbrix unless otherwise noted. You can use them for learning and portfolio projects, but you can't sell or redistribute them.
Your Work
Projects you create during courses belong to you. We might showcase student work in promotional materials with your permission, but we'll always ask first. You keep full rights to your creations.
5. Payment and Refunds
Course fees are outlined during enrollment. We accept payment in stages for longer programs. If you need to withdraw within the first two weeks, we offer partial refunds minus administrative costs.
After that initial period, refunds get more complicated. We've already allocated resources and instructor time. Each situation is different, so contact us directly to discuss options.
Payment plans are available for programs longer than six months. We'd rather work with you on payment terms than have cost be a barrier.
6. Limitation of Liability
We provide education, not employment guarantees. Our liability is limited to the fees you've paid for the specific program. We're not responsible for indirect consequences like lost opportunities or career decisions based on course completion.
If technical issues prevent access to materials, we'll extend deadlines appropriately. But we can't control your internet provider or computer problems on your end.
- We maintain backups of all course materials and student progress data.
- Platform downtime for maintenance is scheduled during low-usage periods.
- Emergency outages are resolved as quickly as possible with status updates provided.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect information necessary for providing educational services. This includes contact details, progress tracking, and assignment submissions. We don't sell student data to third parties.
Your project work and code submissions are stored securely. We use them only for evaluation and feedback purposes. After course completion, you can request data deletion, though we retain basic enrollment records for certificate verification.
8. Community Standards
Our learning environment works best when everyone participates professionally. This means constructive criticism, respectful disagreement, and helping fellow students when you can.
Plagiarism or submitting others' work as your own results in immediate dismissal from the program without refund. We check project submissions against common sources and previous student work.
What Crosses the Line
- Harassment or discrimination based on any personal characteristic.
- Sharing course materials publicly or with non-enrolled individuals.
- Disrupting others' learning through spam or off-topic content.
- Attempting to access other students' accounts or private submissions.
9. Certificates and Credentials
Upon successful completion, you'll receive a certificate indicating the program completed and skills covered. These certificates verify your participation and achievement in our program.
We don't claim our certificates are accredited by external bodies. They represent completion of our curriculum, which we design based on industry needs we observe in the Macedonia game development market and broader European sector.
10. Termination
Either party can terminate this agreement. You can withdraw from courses (with refund implications noted earlier). We reserve the right to dismiss students for violating these terms, though we'll always try to resolve issues through communication first.
If we discontinue a program mid-session due to circumstances on our end, you'll receive a full refund for incomplete portions. This hasn't happened yet, but fairness matters.
11. Modifications to Services
We might update course content, platform features, or teaching methods. Technology changes fast in game development. When we make significant changes to an active program, enrolled students are notified and given time to adjust.
Platform improvements happen regularly. Most are behind-the-scenes enhancements that don't affect your daily use. Major interface changes are rolled out gradually with tutorials provided.
12. Dispute Resolution
If problems arise, contact us directly first. Most issues get resolved through straightforward conversation. For formal disputes, Macedonia law applies, and courts in Skopje have jurisdiction.
We prefer working things out over legal proceedings. It's better for everyone involved and usually leads to more practical solutions.
13. Technical Requirements
Detailed technical specifications are on our Technical Requirements page. Generally, you need a computer capable of running Unity, a stable internet connection for video streaming, and enough storage for project files.
We test our platform on current browser versions. If you're running outdated software, some features might not work properly. We'll help troubleshoot, but keeping your system updated is on you.
14. Third-Party Tools
Courses involve industry-standard tools like Unity, Git, and various development environments. You're responsible for complying with their respective license terms. We provide guidance but can't manage your relationship with those platforms.
Some tools require separate accounts or subscriptions. We'll clearly indicate what's needed before you enroll so there aren't surprises about additional costs.
