Cookie Policy
We're upfront about how edutinaharbrix.com tracks your browsing. This page explains what we collect and why—plus how you can control it.
Essential Cookies Cannot Be Disabled
Our platform requires certain cookies to function properly—these handle login sessions, form submissions, and basic navigation. They're not used for tracking or advertising.
What We Track and Why
Look, cookies aren't some mysterious villain. They're just small text files your browser stores when you visit our site. We use them to remember your preferences and understand how people interact with our educational content.
Some cookies are technical necessities. Others help us figure out which game architecture tutorials actually help students—and which ones need work. We're not interested in building detailed profiles of you. Just improving what we teach.
Types of Tracking We Use
Essential
These keep the site working. Session management, security checks, form handling. Without them, you can't log in or submit enrollment requests. They expire when you close your browser or after 24 hours.
Functional
Remember your language preference? That's functional cookies. They store settings so you don't have to reconfigure everything each visit. These last up to one year and don't track you across other websites.
Analytics
We track page views, time spent on tutorials, and navigation patterns. This tells us if our mobile game architecture course is actually useful or if people bounce after five minutes. Data is anonymized and stored for 26 months.
Marketing
If you clicked an ad to get here, marketing cookies help us understand which campaigns work. They also show you relevant content based on pages you've visited. You can reject these entirely using the button above.
How This Actually Helps
When 70% of students skip a particular module, we notice. Analytics cookies tell us that module needs better structure or clearer examples. That's not surveillance—it's feedback.
Functional cookies mean you don't have to tell us you're from Skopje every single time you visit. Marketing cookies ensure we're not wasting your time with ads for programs you've already reviewed. Everything has a practical purpose.
We're not Facebook. We don't sell your data. We don't build shadow profiles. The information stays with us and helps us teach better.
Managing Your Preferences
The simplest option? Click the rejection button at the top of this page. It'll clear all non-essential cookies immediately and tell our system not to set new ones.
Open your browser settings (usually under a menu icon in the top right corner).
Navigate to Privacy or Security settings—exact location varies by browser.
Look for Cookies, Site Data, or similar terminology. Most browsers let you view and delete cookies individually.
Search for edutinaharbrix.com in the cookie list and remove what you want gone. Or block all third-party cookies entirely.
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all handle this slightly differently. If you're stuck, search for "delete cookies" plus your browser name—there are thousands of guides.
Data Retention Policy
Essential cookies vanish when you close your browser or after 24 hours—whichever comes first. Functional preferences stick around for a year unless you clear them manually.
Analytics data gets anonymized after 90 days and deleted entirely after 26 months. Marketing cookies last 6 months unless you reject them now, in which case they're gone immediately.
If you delete your account with us, we purge all associated cookie data within 30 days. Nothing lingers indefinitely.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics to track site performance. They set their own cookies governed by Google's privacy policy—not ours. If you reject analytics cookies through our system, we signal Google to stop tracking you.
Occasionally we embed videos or resources from YouTube or GitHub. Those platforms may set cookies when you interact with embedded content. We don't control that, but we try to use privacy-enhanced embed options when available.
Questions or Issues
If something's unclear or you're having trouble managing cookies, email us at info@edutinaharbrix.com. We'll walk you through it or clarify what specific cookies do.
This policy was last updated in February 2025. If we change how we handle cookies, we'll update this page and notify active users via email.
